Got this in a swap. First and only paint pot so far and I really like it. Works well as a eyeshadow base, especially w/ green blues or browns. I can tell that it would work as a shadow alone.. Staying power is excellent. I really like the texture. I've tried smudgepots and benefit's version, NYX jumbo pencils and other jumbo pencils and so far I like this version the best. It's creamy but not overly wet (Benefit was pretty wet.. if that makes sense.. took a minute to set and when it did it was more stiff that the paint pot)

I love this paint pot , so glad i bought it. i mainly use this under Macs Club eyeshadow as its a duo chrome and delf really makes the green pop. I do still need to wear a primer under paint pots though as i am oily and they crease without it.

This is the only paint pot I own and I got it because the colour was just soooo beautiful in the jar, a little out of my range but I wear its as a thick line above my lash line and then use my Lord & Berry deep violet eye pencil to finely line the top and bottom lashes. I use two coats of brown mascara after that ( black makes it too harsh for me). I like layering this and building up the colour but only to line the eyes. I don't have the guts to wear this on my crease :p
A little goes a longggg way. I've had it for about six months and it still looks brand new. It has amazing lasting power ( and my eyelids get oily very fast). Absolutely love the colour but i use it only at night - it makes a very bold statement so i keep the rest of my make up very natural. It works wonderfully with my brown eyes. I wouldn't repurchase because this jar is going to last me a life time and it isnt the kind of look i'd wear all week so i don't think I'd want to spend so much money on a colour like this. But I highly recommend it if you think you can pull off a colour this bold continued >>

Wow this is BEAUTIFUL. I don't understand why Mac is discontinuing all their coloured paint pots, they're gorgeous! Omg this, Fresco Rose, and Artifact are amazing.
This is a beautiful deep blue teal. It has a very creamy texture (which some of the pp's lack) and lasts all day. I love layering Deep Truth over it. It turns Deep Truth from a chalky mess into a deep royal blue just like I wanted.
Love it! Wish I had the guts to wear it more often :P

I bought this from the MAC store a month ago I was nervous that it was d/c and having not been able to swap for it I was so happy it was still available. I love this paint pot. I literally wore it everyday for the first week that I had it using different combos. I've used this on lower half of lid with steamy and club but my favorite is delft with blue brown pigment it looks amazing. I am a blue eyeshadow lover if you are too then this a must have. It is such a beautiful darker blue that compliments my NW25 skin.

Got a sample of these, it's sooo creamy and brings out blues and purples freakin amazing. Using
partylicious and violet in the crease looks amazing. I'm hoping to get a full size after my sample runs out :)

this is another gorgeous paint pot and i recently received it in a swap. i saw a youtube video of tattoor0ckstar using this under mutiny pigment and i had to have it. the one i received is very creamy goes on pretty evenly and does not crease. looks beautiful with mutiny and is awesome by itself as well and if i used it alot and it was still available i would buy it again.

Apparently this is now discontinued. This is so upsetting because I love love love this paintpot. I use it, but not often enough to actually go through the entire product before the pant pot dries out (because we all know they do). I'm sad because this color looked really unique under blue brown pigment. So sad. I hope they bring it back. The woman I talked to at the MAC counter said that she goes through this color like water so I have no idea why they discontinued it if it was selling so well. If they discontinue blackground then I will really be POed.

Love it! Such a great color and makes a great base for smokey or bright looks! I have found paint pots to be the best base for shadows.

LOVE paint pots. I have Bare Study, Rubenesque, Constuctivist, Blackground, and Delft. I use Bare Study, Rubenesque and Constructivist everyday, just by themselves. Blackground and Delft make really awesome smokey looks. I would definitely repurchase all the colors I own, and others as well. I feel that these wear by themselves and under shadows best of all the cream shadows I've tried (Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow, Lancome Color Dose, Clarins Soft Touch Eye Color).

I so wanted to love this but I just can't get it to work for me. It is beautiful but just looks awful on my eyes. The only use I have for it at the moment is using at a cream eyeliner. I've tried several colours over it but i'm yet to find something that works.

This is the second paint pot I've purchased from MAC.
Great lasting power and one pot will last you a LONG LONG time. My only gripe with this one is it seemed more flaky than my other paint pot (Quite Natural) and so I had to be more careful when applying it (I use a Q-tip). It also didn't seem to blend as well as a result. But still one of the best cream shadows in the market that doesn't smear on my oily lids after sweat/long hours.
Well worth the investment.

This is as pretty in the pot as it is on my eyes. It really looks great with my brown eyes and lasts for hours. It also makes a good base for other eyeshadows and I can use it as a liner or on the whole lid.

I adore this color to the umpteenth degree. It seriously is the prettiest base I could imagine and the complexity that it adds under any shadow is seriously breathtaking. I guess Delft was discontinued online or something... I don't know. However, I got mine earlier this week at my local MAC counter, no big deal.
The only thing that I can really say against this product is that mine is extremely dry. I have two other paint pots: Rubenesque and Bare Study, and they are moist, blendable, and extremely easy to work with. Perhaps I bought an old one (in which case I would like to know so that I can take mine back and ask for a newer one) which dried out slightly... can that happen? I really have no idea. But that's the only reason it doesn't have a five.
In short. I'm in love. And let me know if anyone else has the dryness problem, I'd like to know I'm not alone!

If I had to repurchase this paint pot I would.. but I have enough in it to last me a few years.
I use this on clients who want a pop of colour and to bring out the greens, ambers and turqouise in eyes. It lasts all day and it gives a great go alone sheen or used as a base under coordinating ES.
This is a must have spring/summer color -- try it with a bronzed cheek, some corally lipstick or gloss and get instant healthy looks.

I don't think I've ever met anyone that has not been seduced by Delft. Delft is a beautiful green/blue paintpot that looks great under anything (try it under woodwinked!)

my first paint pot and im loving it! the color is so pretty in the pot,on my lids its more blue w/ a gold flash to it...not as green as it looks in the pot but thats ok its still lovely. i havent used it as a base yet, only a shadow but i have full confidence that its an awesome base too. ill update when i do that.
Update:
took one star away because as all mac eye products this creased on me =(
the color is still fab & it did stay on from 9am-4pm and the odd thing was it stayed perfect on one eye and creased/faded on the other eye. maybe i wiped at it or used too much on that eye,i dont know. its still going to stay in my routine because the color is great. continued >>

This was a MAC Paintpot I neglected because I didn't know what to do with it... then last week I decided to try it as a base for NARS Eyeshadow Duo in Habenera. Now NARS Habenera on it's own is already a very well pigmented eyeshadow.... but when paired with delf the colour is super intense and really made my eyes pop. I also noticed it made my eyeshadow last a lot longer.. in fact from 6.30AM til 9.30PM.. loving this right now even though it's not a paintpot I'll reach for on a daily basis.

This is a beautiful color, and I love all of MAC's paint pot packagings. The color is sheer and goes on really mild, but you can pack on to add more of a darker contrast. It's a great base.
